In just a few years, thanks to the high quality and sophistication of its products, Cotril has become one of the most loved and most used brands in cinema sets, fashion catwalks and showbiz backstages. Over the years, this strong connection has meant that Cotril has contributed extensively to the looks of hundreds of Italian and international stars, appearing on dozens of red carpet events, playing a key role in fashion weeks, film festivals and music festivals, and doing its part backstage in endless cinema and TV productions.
To cut a long story short, we could say that every time beauty is on show, Cotril is in the backstage star.
WE ARE COTRIL
Our name contains the two main aspects of our identity. In fact, COTRIL stands for “Cosmetic Tricologycal Laboratory”: an independent company specialized in cosmetic solutions that are always the result of meticulous research in our laboratory.
Since its founding in 1971, cosmetics and research are the dominant characteristics of our DNA, but it is in 2004 that they explode with all their energy. At that time we are witnessing a conceptual, technical and artistic renaissance that reaches all aspects of COTRIL: from structure to technical competence, from strategy to personality.
INNOVATION LAB
We are perfectionists. We believe that the harmony, health and beauty of hair depend on the synergy of all the care and treatments to which we submit it. That is why we speak fluently all hair languages: color (permanent, semi-permanent, tone on tone, natural and direct), treatments (shampoo, creams, oils, ampoules, serums), styling (gel, waxes, lacquers, crystals, mousse ) and technical (oxidizing, direct, permanent).
Our predisposition to perfection runs through us and dictates our research and innovation until reaching each phase of the production process: from the creation of the idea of the product to the design of the container, from the graphics to the packaging, from the super advanced active ingredients, to the tests of effectiveness, until the demonstration of the products in the salons.
We have the quality certification according to the UNI EN ISO 9001: 2008 standard.
Technical perfection and technological innovation are necessary, but not sufficient elements for a cosmetic company to become a market leader. If we have become a point of reference in the world of hair coloring, it is thanks to a special ingredient that we add to everything we do: “human quality”. The only way to get closer to perfection is to never stop investigating. That is why the Laboratory is the beating heart of the company. Research for us is an inexhaustible source of energy, because our work requires the constant study and production of increasingly advanced cosmetic formulas. We always draw new energy from research, but we invest another as much in: technological investment, which covers work instruments and production processes, and in addition to relationships, such as collaborations with leading suppliers and contacts with research centers and Universities.
Ours is a true ethical cosmetic. In fact, our mission is to take care of hair and contribute to each person's desire for beauty, while respecting the world in which we live. The processes with which we create our products are primarily designed to minimize the impact on the planet, because we aim at respect and the desire to preserve all that is good in it. Our sustainable method and our spirit of conservation are not limited to the environment, but become an ethical code for all work, as in the relationships we build with our clients: professional, long-lasting and capable of generating value for all.
Communication
The quality of our products speaks for itself. When we communicate we do not need to exaggerate. Our advertising campaigns associate COTRIL products with celebrities, like Belén Rodriguez, they always want the best for their hair. Celebrities choose to be our testimonials because they believe in our mission and in the quality of our products.
In communication we do not leave anything to improvisation. Behind each campaign there is a strategic work and planning, mainly concentrated in women's magazines and whose objective is to speak to people who are integral to the hair salon world. According to Audipres Data, the last campaign has reached 15 million contacts. Obviously, being a perfectionist pays off.
Training plays a vital role in the classroom, in fact improving and catching up never ends.
Every year, Cotril's artistic team creates technical and stylistic training courses for salon owners and their employees. The "know-how" of the expert international team is available to all our clients with cutting, stylistic and color courses, in fashion collections and seminars that are held in the technical rooms of each of the Cotril partners.
